CEE-TEX 22 to 24 September 2016;

New PTC Business cases; Practical solutions for customer satisfaction

Nega Tekstila, the new PTC association of Serbia and host of this year’s Summit, is preparing the third edition of the CEE-TEX Summit, supported by CINET. The event is organized in collaboration with 9 other associations from the CEE region.
The aim of the CEE-TEX Summit is to further strengthen the cooperation and overall position of Professional Textile Care (PTC) in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE).

As the date for CEE-TEX is approaching, we would like to share the preliminary program.

CEE-TEX invites industry professionals with an interest in the CEE region to visit CEE-TEX. It will be an interesting opportunity to network and learn about the newest trends and technologies, to achieve a sustainable industry and increase operational, energy and cost efficiency.

Flashback: CEE-TEX Summit 2015 – Brno, Czech

Republic

At the show in Brno the presentations and discussions where to a large extend focused on market characteristics & trends as well as improved efficiency for the companies. Of the total market (400 PTC companies) some 20 have already implemented RFID benefits are acknowledged.

The Czech association APAC was the host for the event, they cooperate intensively with TZU, the national technical textile institute. Together they offer advice and training to individual companies and employees in the PTC industry. Together with APAC the CEE-TEX Summit was a great step towards a succesful concept for PTC development in Eastern Europe.

CEE-TEX 2015: MEETING POINT FOR TRENDS &

INNOVATIONS

The first CEE-TEX event in 2014 has shown its potential as a platform for strengthening the collaboration and position of Professional Textile Care (PTC) in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE-region). With the attendance of the region’s leading organizations and an abundance of plans for further collaboration the inaugural CEE-TEX has proven to be a great success.

During the INTERCLEAN show the second edition of CEE-TEX will be held. With some 200 attendees—representing PTC companies, suppliers, associations, as well as individual professionals and experts—the event of 2015 will offer ample opportunity for networking, exchanging information and discussing future plans.

Trends and innovations
The program will be centered around market characteristics, new trends and new sieve models. Highlights of CEE-TEX 2015 of the event will be the exhibition, general assembly and best practice award show.

New business models
Speaking topics during the inaugural CEE-TEX summit will cover sustainability, energy savings, technology solutions, new business models and e-learning. Additionally, the summit will facilitate country introductions and roundtable discussions—a CEE’s first! APAC and CINET heartily thank the national sponsors.

CEE-TEX 2015 will be organized by Czech Association APAC and CINET. The event will be supported by national associations and organizations from Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Moldova, Romania, Poland, Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia and Bulgaria.

The first CEE-TEX event has shown its potential as a platform for strengthening the collaboration and position of Professional Textile Care (PTC) in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE-region). With the attendance of the region’s leading organizations, over 8 hours of notable presentations, and an abundance of plans for further collaboration the inaugural CEE-TEX has proven to be a great success.

With some 200 attendees—representing PTC companies, suppliers, associations, as well as individual professionals and experts—the event offered ample opportunity for networking, exchanging information and discussing future plans.

Green laundry
The program was centered around best practice information on how to achieve excellence in daily operations and demonstrated the latest trends and technologies. Highlights of CEE-TEX 2014 were the exhibition, National Conference and CEE-TEX summit, addressing green laundry, EU regulations, energy and water savings, the economic outlook, financial support for sustainable investments, and certification. The potential for the CEE companies was perhaps best captured by Mr. Varró of Hungary’s Top Clean, who elaborated on becoming 5th in the European Award Best Practices Textile Cleaning.
